~I'm a Daddy Now~

Assalamualaikum WBT

It has been a month since my last update on this blog. I’ve been really busy lately, with a 1st year report to be submitted to the university (harap2 sempat siap sebelum hujung bulan nie), moving into a new house and also plan for going back to Malaysia for 5 weeks.

As I’m writing this entry, I’ve already become a daddy. Alhamdulillah, my lovely wife, Nani telah selamat melahirkan baby girl pada jam 3.30 pagi waktu Malaysia. So, I’m having a Merdeka baby girl on 3.30 am 31 August 2008 :) Alhamdulillah, segala syukur ku panjatkan kepada Ilahi yang telah mengurniakan rezeki kepada kami setelah pelbagai dugaan dihadapi.

Last 2 weeks, Nani was admitted to Hospital Serdang after not being very well (her and our little baby). Luckily, my family-in-law is from Shah Alam, so ada la jugak yang dapat meneman dan menjaga Nani semasa kat hospital. She has been held there for about a week before being released after both (her & baby) have been confirmed to be back to the normal conditions.

On Friday morning, after having a normal check up at Klinik An-Nur, Bandar Baru Bangi, she has been detained again and doctor has suggested for immediate delivery. It was 20 days earlier than the expected delivery. I’m supposed to be back to Malaysia on next week (6 September). Since Nani was expected to deliver on 20 September, so the chosen date for me to be back to Malaysia seems just nice. Tapi tak sangka pula bila Nani terpaksa undergo for early delivery. Walaubagaimanapon, I’m really grateful for all this rahmat, cuma agak terkilan sebab tak dapat berada di sisi Nani, on the time when she needs me the most. Tapi rasa cam hepi jugak sbb I can skip for being into the labour room, which I’m not really want to (mabuk darah & possibility utk pengsan adalah tinggi :) ).

So, my little princess will be about a week when I’m meeting her. Tak sabar rasanya nak balik. Nani told me that our baby dah start bukak mata waktu time kuar. Maybe tak sabar nak tengok a new world kot.

Last week, I’ve moved into a new house. Nasib baik hari Isnin lepas was a public holiday, so I got extra time to pack and move all my stuffs (thanks to Shah and my ex-housemate) then do some rearrangement at new home. I'm sharing with Pok Lah, a new PhD students who just a month arriving from Malaysia. He is also from UPM and having his family back in Malaysia.

Hari Isnin ni dah start berpuasa for all muslim in UK dan juga di Malaysia. So, selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa. The rest will be in Malaysia, so I will have chance to go to pasar ramadhan, the only place where you can find a variety of Malaysian foods. To all, selamat menyambut hari kemerdekaan and selamat berpuasa.
